The Big Beautiful Breakup

The public breakup between Trump and Musk has sparked numerous questions about their future relationship and how this will all play out over the next few months. Tensions were already high, especially after the Big Beautiful Bill passed the House by one vote, but the situation escalated when Musk started live-tweeting during a Trump press event in the Oval Office. IT escalated to the point where Musk suggested Trump is in the Epstein Files, and Trump threatened to end all government contracts that Musk has. Trump has since made it clear that there will be no reconciliation, and while some Trump loyalists are trying to use this opportunity to regain favor the impact on voters' views of the President, the BBB, and DOGE remains uncertain.

While it is too early to judge where voters are going, we can certainly look back over the last four months at how voters viewed Musk’s involvement in the administration.
